FIRST CHECKS

1. Check for damage to bodywork, lamps and trims
2. Fit protective cover
3. Check operation of interior and exterior lights
4. Check operation of ABS and air bag warning lights*
5. Check windscreen washers and wipers
6. Check horn
7. Apply Forté treatments to remove internal contamination

UNDER THE BONNET

1. Check cooling system including fan operation
2. Check and record brake fluid condition
3. Check power steering operation and fluid condition
4. Check and top up all under bonnet fluid levels

VEHICLE RAISED

1. Check brake pipes
2. Check all steering and suspension joints, mountings and gaiters
3. Carry out tyre report
4. Check all wheel bearings for excessive ‘plays’ and noise (adjust)
5. Check CV gaiters and joints for wear or splits
6. Check operation and condition of front brakes
7. Carry out brake report

VEHICLE LOWERED

1. Torque wheel nuts/studs

TO FINISH

1. Road test vehicle and report any findings
2. Ensure all upholstery, steering wheel, etc. are clean
3. Stamp service book(s)

4. Check condition and operation of all seat belts
5. Check operation of interior and exterior lights
6. Check operation of ABS and air bag warning lights*
7. Check air conditioning operation including bad odour*
8. Check windscreen washers and wipers
9. Check horn
10. Check operation of suspension dampers
11. Lubricate all door hinges, locks, and bonnet catches
12. Apply Forté treatments to remove internal contamination
13. Check charging caps

UNDER THE BONNET

1. Check cooling system including fan operation
2. Check and record brake fluid condition
3. Check power steering operation and fluid condition
4. Check battery level and lubricate terminals
5. Check and top up all under bonnet fluid levels
6. Replace pollen filter*

VEHICLE RAISED

1. Check brake pipes
2. Check all steering and suspension joints, mountings and gaiters
3. Carry out tyre report
4. Check all wheel bearings for excessive ‘plays’ and noise (adjust)
5. Check CV gaiters and joints for wear or splits
6. Check all greasing points*
7. Check operation and condition of front brakes
8. Check operation and condition of rear brakes (inc. handbrake)
9. Carry out brake report

VEHICLE LOWERED

1. Torque wheel nuts/studs
2. Locking wheel nut key location

TO FINISH

1. Carry out diagnostic check*
2. Reset service interval indicator*
3. Road test vehicle and report any findings
4. Ensure all upholstery, steering wheel, etc. are clean
5. Stamp service book(s)
