  7. Check horn
  8. Apply Forté treatments to remove internal contamination

 

UNDER THE BONNET

  1. Check cooling system including fan operation
  2. Check and record Anti-Freeze protection
  3. Check and record brake fluid condition
  4. Check power steering operation and fluid condition
  5. Check and top up all under bonnet fluid levels

 

VEHICLE RAISED

  1. Change oil, filter and fit new sump plug washer
  2. Check fuel lines and brake pipes
  3. Check the condition and security of the exhaust
  4. Check all steering and suspension joints, mountings and gaiters
  5. Carry out tyre report
  6. Check all wheel bearings for excessive ‘plays’ and noise (adjust)
  7. Check CV gaiters and joints for wear or splits
  8. Check operation and condition of front brakes
  9. Carry out brake report

  1. Refill engine with specified grade oil
  2. Torque wheel nuts/studs

 

TO FINISH

  1. Road test vehicle and report any findings
  2. Re-check engine oil level
  3. Ensure all upholstery, gear level, steering wheel, etc. are clean
  4. Stamp service book(s)

UNDER THE BONNET

  1. Check cooling system including fan operation

  3. Check and record brake fluid condition
  4. Check all auxiliary drive belts (not timing belts)
  5. Check engine breather system
  6. Check vacuum pipes
  7. Check power steering operation and fluid condition
  8. Check throttle body. Clean if required
  9. Check battery level and lubricate terminals
  10. Check and top up all under bonnet fluid levels
  11. Replace air filters*
  12. Replace spark plugs*
  13. Replace fuel filter*
  14. Replace pollen filter*

 

VEHICLE RAISED

  1. Change oil, filter and fit new sump plug washer
  2. Check fuel lines and brake pipes
  3. Check the condition and security of the exhaust
  4. Check and top up axle and transfer box oil levels*
  5. Check and top up gearbox oil level
  6. Check all steering and suspension joints, mountings and gaiters
  7. Carry out tyre report
  8. Check all wheel bearings for excessive ‘plays’ and noise (adjust)
  9. Check CV gaiters and joints for wear or splits
  10. Check clutch cable/cylinder*
  11. Check all greasing points*
  12. Check operation and condition of front brakes
  13. Check operation and condition of rear brakes (inc. handbrake)
  14. Carry out brake report

  1. Refill engine with specified grade oil
  2. Torque wheel nuts/studs
  3. Locking wheel nut key location

 

TO FINISH

  1. Carry out diagnostic check*
  2. Reset service interval indicator*
  3. Road test vehicle and report any findings
  4. Re-check engine oil level
  5. Ensure all upholstery, gear level, steering wheel, etc. are clean
  6. Stamp service book(s)
